Dr. Khattak obtained his medical degree from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at The Hospital for Sick Children. He subsequently completed a clinical year in Emergency Services and Neonatal Intensive Care, followed by a fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology. He has served on Scientific Advisory Boards as well as Speakers Bureau for several major pharmaceutical companies, and has authored several award winning scientific articles and abstracts in peer review journals. Dr. Khattak is a Board-Certified Pediatrician in Canada. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Academy of Pharmaceutical Scientists and the Canadian Society of Clinical Pharmacology. He evaluates and manages a variety of behavioural or developmental concerns amongst children, adolescents and adults.
Dr. Shah has over 30 years of experience in Family and Integrative Medicine. After obtaining his Medical (MBBS, MCPS) and Master of Public Administration (MPA) degrees from the University of Karachi, he practiced at Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC) and The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD). He joined Kids Clinic in 2009 and has been integral in conducting patient assessment, counseling and management of children and adolescents, focusing in the areas of behavioral and developmental disorders. He has been actively involved in clinical research and has participated in major successful audits by FDA and Health Canada. Dr. Shah helped establish a center in Pakistan in 2015, offering the same range of services as Kids Clinic, after which he has returned to rejoin our current team in Canada.
